Studio - Account Manager (6 month contract)

The Studio-Account Manager is a key contributor for developing and maintaining a center of design and operational excellence for a Cinco embedded brand design team with one of the studio’s leading clients. This is a 6-month contract role that will be responsible for the intake, oversight, and delivery of projects and strategic initiatives for our clients, ensuring premium execution and efficient operational implementation. The Studio-Account Manager will fully understand the clients’ needs and objectives and ensure those are being addressed through our creative development process. The Studio-Account Manager must develop and demonstrate leadership skills and strive for perfection in the delivery, profitability and creative excellence of the work we deliver. This role is the voice and internal representation of our clients, while also acting as steward of our internal Cinco process and approach.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years Account Management experience within an agency or design department setting
  • 2+ years experience in studio, resource and traffic management with a strong foundation of project management best practices
  • Expertise in delivering best-in-class creative solutions that meet the client expectations and studio standards
  • Proven track record at building and growing client relationships
  • Personal passion for sports, culture, design, and storytelling
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Communication or related field, or combination of education, experience and training

Skills and Requirements

  • Highly organized and results-driven with strong client management skills
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and interact with clients at various levels
  • Expert at managing interdisciplinary creative workstreams and tracking multi-faceted projects
  • Ability to distill client inputs and information into a project brief that informs the team of client's needs and expectations.
  • Skilled at capturing project objectives and translating them into well defined Scopes of Work that align with the project budget and work plan
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear internal and client documentation
  • Demonstrated understanding of Cinco’s service offerings and ability to identify opportunities for organic growth within current client relationships
  • Required to commute and work from client headquarters, 3 days per week
  • Strong working knowledge of office software (MS Office / Keynote / Box). Experience in agency management software Workamajig is also ideal

Responsibilities

Client Services

  • Identify project objectives and develop clearly defined Scopes of Work that offer realistic timelines, budgets and creative deliverables 
  • Oversee monthly reporting to clients on required KPIs for retained teams and projects
  • Maintain barometer for client relationship health and be the voice of the client throughout a project life cycle, ensuring goals and objectives are being met
  • Aim to grow and scale the retained team as we attract and support an increasing volume of work
  • Communicate the value of design and strategic thinking in all client engagements, be a trusted advocate to both sides of the process
  • Deliver the highest level of professional dedication and performance
  • Reports to Group Account Director

Studio Management

  • Manage the daily operations of the Cinco brand design studio: team meetings, creative reviews, risk management and resourcing
  • Operationalize and track all program work streams end-to-end across multiple teams
  • Works with the Production Director to ensure Cinco standard operating procedures are being adhered to or adjusted appropriately according to the needs of dedicated brand design group
  • Review and filter all creative briefs for the design team, ensuring they are clear and thorough with supporting materials
  • Works with designated Project Managers on assigned projects as needed maintaining oversight and accountability for all deliverables across client  programs
  • In partnership with the Project or Program Managers, establish and manage schedules, project budgets from brief through final delivery. Responsible for resourcing integration within the retained creative team and across additional project scopes, plan and monitor resources to workflow booking in additional Cinco resources or freelance support where necessary 
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure clear communication of project status, optimization of processes, on-time deliveries to stakeholders
