Fitbit needed to develop fresh expressions of activity and health across digital apps and interfaces for a diverse and growing global user base. Fitbit and Cinco joined forces in an iterative creative process, starting with a collaborative discovery session that unlocked new ways of thinking about the product and brand to identify previously unexplored possibilities. After discovering helpful parameters for our exploration, we began collecting ideas in mood-boards, sketchbooks, and collaborative design tools. Partnering with Fitbit's design department involves a healthy dose of collaborative ideation, insights-gathering, and inspiring internal teams to push the boundaries. Together we created aspirational glimpses into what the future of Fitbit apps could be. We compiled our findings into a prototypes and presentations for adoption across the broader organization. Our team left the internal Fitbit design department with a wealth of tools, clear systems and ideas to continue to evolve and scale into the new product vision.
